PROGRAMS & SERVICES
To provide free grocery assistance to Georgia households, in order to reduce food insecurity throughout Georgia through an organization of food pantries, feeding programs, food waste reduction and redistribution plans, health and welfare initiatives, and community focused events.
Food Pantry Distributions:
The Free Market Food Pantry, Mondays 6:00pm-8:00pm
The FREE MARKET operates an all-inclusive weekly food pantry to those in need.
Our objective is to nourish individuals and families in need with fresh produce and non-perishable foods.
Various dates during the year, we provide STANDARD plated meals to anyone in need.
Vegantry (Vegan/Plantbased, Allergy Friendly Food Pantry), Mondays 6:00pm-8:00pm
The HEALTHY EATING INITIATIVE division cooks, bakes, and distributes meals to those in need.
Our objective is to nourish individuals and families in need with a healthy, plant based food pantry.
To provide allergen and dietary friendly foods to people in need.
Emergency Food Assistance, Sundays 1:00pm (by appt)
Pre-packaged groceries are provided to anyone that can not make it to the Free Market.
No Food Waste / Free Food Commune (Fiscal Sponsor), Saturdays 1:00pm-3:00pm
Excess Food is distributed out to the community to avoid food waste.
Klonnie Lewis/Gordon Food Pantry (Fiscal Sponsor), Quarterly Tuesdays 6:00pm-8:00pm
An all-inclusive food pantry open to anyone living in Middle Georgia.

Community Hot Meals, Quarterly Mondays 6:00pm-8:00pm
Nourishing our community with hot and cold food, salads, and sandwiches.
Student Meals, Coming Soon
Nourishing school aged children with hot and cold prepared meals during the year.

Homeless Food/Care Kits, Quarterly Distribution
The HOMELESS OUTREACH division packages care and food kits to distribute to the homeless in Georgia, Maryland and Washington D.C. Our team distributes to those in need primarily in South Atlanta, College Park, and East Point, Georgia.
Student Snack Kits, Weekly Distribution
The STUDENT OUTREACH division packages snack kits to distribute to the low income students in metro Atlanta area. This program is open to schools and day care centers.
Career*Learning Center, (Mondays, 5:00pm-8:00pm; Sundays, 12:30pm by appt
Computer lab and resource library for job search, resume creation and printing, school assiggments, and learning games.
Easter/Spring Event, (TBD 2020)
Each year we host a spring Easter Egg Hunt, featuring free food, toys, games and prizes.
Back to School Event, August (TBD 2020)
Each year we host a back to school event featuring free food, school supplies, games and prizes, and clothing for school aged children.
Thanksgiving Meal Event (November 23, 2020, 6:00pm-8:00pm)
Each year we host a Thanksgiving Meal Event.
EACH EVENT IS DIFFERENT. WHAT IS OFFERED CHANGES EACH YEAR BASED ON DONATIONS.
Thanksgiving Dinner & Auction (TBA, 6:00pm-8:00pm)
Each year we host a Thanksgiving Gala.
The gala includes dinner and a silent auction to raise additional funding for FGF programs.
Xmas Gift Giveaway Event, (December 19, 2020, 12:00pm-4:00pm)
Each year we host a Christmas Gift/Toy Give-A-Way sponsored in part by Atlanta Toys for Tots.
All children ages 0-18 can be registered by a parent/guardian to receive a gift/toy.
